Hair Loss Treatment Using Your Body’s Own Tissue
With hair loss, the hair follicles are usually still present, but they have become less active. With the Biograft method, we use a small piece of your own scalp to try to reactivate them.
How It Works
- We take 2–3 small tissue samples, approximately 2.5 mm in size, from the side of the back of your head. This is done under local anaesthesia.
- The tissue is mechanically processed into a solution containing your own cells and growth factors.
The entire treatment is completed in a single visit and takes approximately thirty minutes. No foreign substances are introduced, as everything comes from your own body.

It may be an option if you do not want to or cannot use medication, or it can be combined with medication and PRP for the best possible effect. The treatment aims to slow hereditary hair loss and serves as a preventive measure for those who are not yet ready for a permanent treatment such as a hair transplant, which is used when hair follicles are no longer present.

How does the treatment work?
BioGraft is a treatment for hereditary hair loss that uses tissue from your own scalp. How does the treatment work?

By introducing cells and signaling substances (stem cells and exosomes) from your own healthy hair follicles, we can provide weakened follicles with the support they need to continue producing hair.
Risks
After the treatment, you may experience some tenderness, redness, or minor bruising. In rare cases, infection can also occur. We will go through any potential risks and side effects during your consultation, ensuring you have all the information you need before making your decision.
